(Editors Note: The following record was copied by Paul E. Sparks from a family Bible now in the possession of Mrs. W. W. Bailey, Bellefonte, Kentucky. The Bible was published by The American Bible Society in 1866. It was owned first by Wiley Sparks, born 1808, died 1890, of Lawrence County, Kentucky, and later by his son, 1.2.5.1.2.1.1.4 Washington Sparks, born 1845. 1.2.5.1.2.1.1 Wiley Sparks was the son of 1.2.5.1.2.1 Levi Sparks (1778-1851), who was the son of 1.2.5.1.2 John Sparks (1753-1840/41).
